New Honda Civic SUV Launched In 2013

Honda Motor Company (HMC) has now set up for the latest concept car Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in 2013. However, interestingly, the SUV will use the platform of the Civic hatchback that has a small engine. Currently, the production of Honda Civic SUV, Civic hatchback by flatform is ongoing and HMC designate English as the debut release. This variant will be expected to rival the Nissan Qashqai that have high sales figures in Europe.

Judging from the design side, the Honda Civic SUV are a combination of design Honda CR-V and Civic. From the front view and the left and right over the design adopted CR-V, and clearly visible to the rear like a Honda Civic hatchback. More on the name to be given, Honda still keep it secret. For a while this car still bears the name Honda Civic SUV.

Regarding the machine to be used on this car, Honda plans to deliver three engine options for the Honda Civic SUV, including the 1.4-liter i-VTEC engine with 100 PS (73 kW / 98 hp), 1.8-liter engine i-VTEC engine with 142 PS (104 kW / 139 hp) and 2.2-liter i-DTEC diesel that can give off power 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
